Project Serve was written and directed by Paul Moore. The piece was commissioned by the Christian Reformed Church for it's youth missions program. The video was shot in Juarez Mexico over three days in the spring of 2002. It was a great experience and I would be thrilled to do something like it again someday. Enjoy

The Van Pelt experience was written and directed by myself. This short film was featured in the Senior Art Exhibit, Level Orange, at Hope College in 2004. The film is a commentary on my experience at Hope College. The fleeting nature of many relationships are illustrated by the time lapse photography. Their is a limited number of people that I will remember from my time at hope, they are the stationary figures in the center of the image. All of the music used in the short was done by bands that I was a part of at Hope. The scenery is the center of Hopes campus, a very familiar image. There is an image of a cross and an American flag signifying the heightened sense of religious and political awareness during my college career. The final shot signifies me addressing the viewer asking them to consider their past, mainly asking me to consider my past. So their you have it, a 6 minute self-portrait. Enjoy.
